Time frame
After scheduling at our office you will be given a date. The hospital will call on the Monday before to give you the time to be at the hospital.

Medications to stop 2 weeks prior
Ozempic (semaglutide)
Wegovy (semaglutide)
Mounjaro (tirzepatide)
Trulicity (dulaglutide)
Rybelsus (oral semaglutide)

Time frame for prep
Two Days Before Procedure:
Begin a low-fiber diet. Avoid seeds, nuts, raw vegetables, and whole grains.
One Day Before Procedure:
Clear Liquid Diet Only: No solid food. Drink only clear liquids such as water, broth, apple juice, white grape juice, tea, coffee (no cream), sports drinks, and clear sodas.
Prep Instructions:
At 12:00 PM: Take 2 Dulcolax (bisacodyl) tablets.
At 4:00 PM: Mix 1 bottle of Miralax (238g) with 64 oz of Gatorade (not red or purple). Shake until dissolved.
Drink 8 oz every 15–30 minutes until half the solution is finished.
Refrigerate the remaining half for the morning dose.
Day of Procedure:
5 hours before your arrival time: Drink the remaining half of the Miralax solution.
Finish at least 2 hours before your procedure time.
Continue clear liquids until 2 hours before your procedure.
